1. Poke Ball: Catch Chance: 2D, Cost: 200p, Standard tool for catching wild Pokemon.
2. Great Ball: Catch Chance: 4D, Cost: 600p, A good quality Ball for catching wild Pokemon with a higher catch rate than a Poke Ball.
3. Ultra Ball: Catch Chance: 6D, Cost: 1,200p, A very high quality Ball for catching wild Pokemon with a higher catch rate than a Great Ball.
4. Master Ball: Catch Chance: Auto-catch, Cost: Not for Sale, The best Ball with the ultimate performance. It will catch any wild Pokémon without fail.
5. Safari (Kanto/Hoenn) Ball: Catch Chance: 4D, Cost: None, A special Ball that is used only in the Safari Zone. It has the same catch quality as a Great Ball. It is finished with a camouflage pattern.

Level Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cannot be bought, 1D if the player’s Pokémon is the same level as or a lower level than the wild Pokémon. 2D if the player’s Pokémon is at a higher level than the wild Pokémon but less than double it. 4D if the player’s Pokémon is more than double but less than four times the level of the wild Pokémon. 8D if the player’s Pokémon is of a level four times or more than that of the wild Pokémon.
7. Lure Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cannot be bought, 3D if used on a Pokémon encountered while fishing, 1D otherwise.

Heavy Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cannot be bought, + 1 if used on pokemon weighing less then 220 lbs. 1D if used on pokemon weighing between 220 and 451 lbs. 2D if used on pokemon weighing between 451 and 677 lbs. 3D if used on pokemon weighing between 677 and 903 lbs. 4D if used on pokemon weighing more than 903 lbs.
12. Fast Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cannot be bought, 4D if used on a Pokémon with a base Speed of at least 3D, 1D otherwise.
13. Sports (Johto) Ball: Catch Chance: 2D, Cannot be bought, Used in the National Park for catching Pokemon within the park.

16. Timer Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cost: 1,000p, 1D + 1 pip for every ten turns, (maximum 4D)
17. Nest Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cost: 1,000p, 4D – 1 pip for every 10 levels the target Pokemon has.
18. Net Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cost: 1,000p, 3D when used on Water or Bug type Pokemon, 1D otherwise.
19. Dive Ball: Catch Chance: See Description, Cost: 1,000p, 3D + 2 when used on Water-dwelling Pokemon or Underwater, otherwise 1D.
